For Bastard Burgers, music is an important part of the restaurant experience and the atmosphere in each location. The sound system must therefore do more than play background music: it needs to deliver high sound quality, even coverage and the flexibility to adapt the music to different areas. Effektgruppen has so far worked on sound and lighting in 50 of the chain’s restaurants. Each project starts from a technical design adapted to the size and layout of the location.

Music in the right zone and at the right level

The sound system is designed for even coverage throughout the restaurant. Separate audio zones make it possible to adjust the volume to suit how each area is used. Music players and amplifiers are housed in an equipment rack, while staff have simple volume control for daily use.

Lighting for different times of day

The lighting can switch between preset scenes for daytime and lunch, dinner, social gatherings and cleaning. This gives staff a quick way to adjust the lighting as the restaurant’s needs change throughout the day.

A design that can be reused

Effektgruppen has produced drawings, installation instructions and pre-programmed sound and lighting solutions. The standard design provides a clear starting point for new restaurants, while speakers, zones and lighting can be tailored to each location.
