New technology at Visby Ishall

Just 154 days passed between promotion on 22 April and the first HockeyAllsvenskan home game on 23 September. During an intensive summer, Visby Ishall was rebuilt for Visby Roma Hockey’s historic season in HockeyAllsvenskan. Effektgruppen is proud to have been part of the work.

Together with our long-standing partner Peab, we supplied and installed a new jumbotron, loudspeakers and technology for audio and video distribution throughout the arena. The tight schedule called for careful planning and close cooperation. Peab’s specialist expertise and our arena technology work made it possible to complete the installation in time for the home opener against Kalmar HC.

The opening night also brought a historic moment on the ice: Visby Roma scored its first HockeyAllsvenskan home goal after just six minutes. We are delighted for the club and everyone who can now enjoy hockey at a new level in Visby Ishall.
